Reconozco la tristeza apropiada ante la noticia de que alguien cuya mision era apoyar a los que sufren, haya insertado mas sufrimiento en los heridos y los familiares y amigos de los asesinados. Fecha: 5 de noviembre del 2009 Texas.
Es muy apropiado discutir estos asesinatos a manos de un psiquiatra con nuestros pacientes, quienes pueden ya estar perdiendo confianza y comenzando a temernos.
Moraleja:
todos los seres humanos somos vulnerables a desarrollar una enfermedad mental y tambien a conducirnos antisocialmente. Hay muy poca diferencia entre los que necesitan ayuda y los que damos ayuda.

I agree with the sadness associated to knowing somebody whose mission was to support people who suffer, added suffering to the wounded and the relatives and friends of the deceased.
It is appropriate to discuss this shooting by a psychiatrist with our patients, who may have already started to lose trust or fear some of us.
Teaching:
we are all vulnerable not only to mental illness but to unacceptable antisocial behavior. There is little difference between those that need care and those that give it.
